The nurse came in a little after noon to check how Jenny was progressing. Not much has changed but the baby is in position and ready to come out. So they increased Jenny's level of pitosin in the hopes of moving things along.

May I suggest a few things...
1) Sing the "Bear Down Chicago Bears" song loud enough for the baby to hear. This is bound to excite it and make it come out ready to be a winner.
2) Sing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" in your best Harry Caray voice. This will do a couple things: let the baby know you are going to raise it a die-hard Cubs fan, let the baby know you are comfortable drinking $8 Old Styles, and let the baby rest easy knowing that it'll be protected from the harsh elements of US Cellular Field.
3) Try blowing a hot hair drying on your belly. Right now the baby knows it is about to spend the next 6 months in the frozen tundra. Maybe some heat and tropical music (Bob Marley's "Jammin'" is a good choice) will trick the little dude.
4) Consider giving more drugs...it works every time. He he he.
Good luck guys!!!
Matt
Awesome! I am so excited for you guys. Hang in there!

Instead of saying "push" say "heave". I don't know why, but think it would make a funny story to look back on.
Obviously Matt has a lot of time on his hands at the moment (Aiden must be napping). Anyway, how is Jenny doing pain-wise? Is she hanging in there okay? Is the pitocin all the way cranked?
